Whangaroa Marina is the northernmost marina in New Zealand and offers access to famous fishing grounds such as the Cavalli Islands down to the North Cape of New Zealand. The marina is located in the deep-water bay of Whangaroa Harbor, surrounded by rocky shores and generally provides safer anchoring spots. It was founded in 1997 and is owned by a charitable trust that supports the Whangaroa community. Whangaroa Marina offers various services such as office, toilets, showers, and a washing machine. The marina also has a secure parking area for visitors. Berths are available both for short and longer periods.
