Te Ana Marina is located within the sheltered waters of Whakaraupō/Lyttelton Harbour and features Christchurch’s only floating berth marina with walk-on access. The marina offers almost 200 berths for vessels ranging from 10m to 36m, all supplied with water, power (dependent on vessel electrical compliance), and Wi-Fi services. Landside facilities include carparks, lighting, security, a marina office, and amenities such as a laundry. The initial landside rejuvenation includes a pedestrian promenade and improved sea wall, with future stages planned to include marine-related retail, professional offices, and dining options. Te Ana Marina is situated between two traditional sites, Ōhinehou and Te Ana o Huikai, and has been operating since its establishment. As of 2026, the marina can accommodate vessels up to 36m in length.
