ATLOYS VENNER A/L is a Norwegian company that takes care of the operation and maintenance of the historic S/S Atløy sailing season. The S/S Atløy belongs to the Veteran Sailing Association Atløy, whose members come from all of Sogn og Fjordane. The Atløy's Club, the Atløy's Friends, organizes between 10,000 and 15,000 working hours in the maintenance and restoration of the S/S Atløy annually. Since 1995, over 320,000 documented working hours have been invested to restore and operate the S/S Atløy. The Directorate of Antiquities has the professional responsibility for the restoration works. The S/S Atløy was awarded the title of Norway's best preserved veteran sailing boat in 2002 by the Coastal Association.
