The Seamen's Church Institute, International Seafarers' Center (SCI) is an institution located in the heart of Port Newark in New Jersey, serving the largest seaport complex on the eastern coast of the United States. The center was first established in the 1960s and was renovated in 2010 to provide hospitality for seafarers and harbor workers, including truck drivers, stevedores, and warehouse workers. It offers services such as high-speed internet access, SIM cards, money transfers, package delivery, recreational opportunities including basketball, table tennis, swimming pool, sports facilities, and a fitness room with weight equipment and cardio equipment. The institution also has a church, a lounge and work area, and is known for its unique green land in the harbor. SCI provides free shuttle services from and to the center, terminals, and Jersey Gardens Mall. There is also a chapel.
