QVSR Immingham Seafarers Centre welcomes around 10,000 seafarers per year from ships calling at Humber ports. The centre is open from 9:00 to 22:00 GMT (Monday to Friday) and from 15:00 to 21:00 GMT on Sundays. It offers data SIMs, phone top-ups, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a bar and restaurant serving hot and cold food, a shop, pool tables, table tennis, and foosball. The centre also has a chapel and chaplains available for support. Volunteers are needed to help out in the centre or drive seafarers to and from their ships. At Christmas, they prepare boxes for seafarers who will be at sea during the festive period and welcome donations of toiletries and sweets.
