Queen Victoria Seamen’s Rest, Bristol Seafarers Centre welcomes around 10,000 seafarers per year and offers services including data SIMs & phone top-ups, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, light refreshments, a shop, a pool table, and chapel facilities. The centre is open daily from 13:00 to 22:00 GMT and provides transport services for seafarers. Volunteers are needed to help out in the centre or drive seafarers to and from their ships. The centre also accepts donations of knitted items, toiletries, and sweets, especially during Christmas when they prepare boxes for seafarers who cannot be with their families. The Bristol Seafarers Centre has been operating since 175 years ago.
