Mahathi Infra Uganda Limited, established in 2015, focuses on constructing oil and maritime infrastructure to support the growing oil industry in Uganda. The company is currently building a 70,000 KL Oil Terminal for storing HSD, gasoline, and Jet A-1, as well as a jetty for ship docking. Mahathi Infra Uganda Limited is also constructing oil tankers that will carry the Ugandan flag and are built according to the standards of the IRS classification society. The project was inaugurated by the President of Uganda on June 16, 2016, and was commissioned in August 2020. Each ship has a carrying capacity equivalent to approximately 150 trucks of fuel from Kisumu on Lake Victoria to Uganda.
