KAPLAAKI OY is a guild for students of Lappeenrannan Teknillinen Yliopisto (LUT) founded in 1974. It has around 150 new members annually and is one of the largest industry guilds in Northern Europe. The guild offers six main services in three different cities. Founded in 1974, it has a rich history of over 50 years. Members can access various benefits, including student housing, the right to participate in guild events, and the opportunity to spend time in the guild's common area, known as the heart of the guild, the kiltahuone.
