KVARKEN LINK AB is a Finnish company specializing in the construction of environmentally friendly passenger ships. The firm builds a ship with a capacity of approximately 800 passengers and a freight capacity of 1,500 load meters for trucks and cars. The ship will be built at Rauma Werft in Finland and will be powered by a dual propulsion system, with the main propulsion to be provided by liquefied natural gas (LNG). Additionally, the ship can utilize biogas from Vaasa. The company is a member of the SAILS Initiative and has already contributed to the construction of the M/S Aurora Botnia. KVARKEN LINK was apparently founded in 2022, as it only recently began operations at the shipyard.
