Aivp Rufenacht Prize is an international award recognizing remarkable urban planning projects at the interface of cities and ports. Since its first edition in 2024, it has received 23 project submissions, selected six finalists, and awarded a special mention and a laureate. The prize aims to highlight sustainable development initiatives in port-city interfaces. The next edition is planned for 2026, with the jury consisting of international experts such as Geraldine Knatz and Carola Hein. The prize targets maritime and riverine port authorities worldwide, focusing on projects completed within three years that align with the AIVP's Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals.
