Basque Maritime Ind Assoc, also known as ADIMDE - Agrupación De Industrias Marítimas De Euskadi, is an association representing the maritime industry in the Basque Country, Spain. It includes shipyards, merchant and fishing armors, and auxiliary industries. The association works to promote maritime culture and the competitiveness of sector companies through cooperation. As of 2016, it represented 238 companies with a total workforce of 14,738 and a combined turnover of 2.943,5 million euros, contributing 2.27% to the GDP of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country. The organization was founded to support the social and economic development of the Basque Country.
