Cadeler, a leading player in the offshore wind industry, has signed firm contracts with COSCO Shipping Offshore for the construction of two new T-class offshore wind installation vessels. The agreement, valued at approximately €805 million ($930.5 million) in aggregate, will see the delivery of these vessels in 2030 and 2031.
The new T-class series vessels are designed to be the largest and most capable installations ever introduced to the market, aiming to enhance efficiency, versatility, and performance for complex projects. COSCO Shipping Offshore has a proven track record with Cadeler, having constructed several vessels under their previous agreements.
