IRCM is an independent biomedical research institute in Montreal, founded in 1967. It focuses on fundamental research, specialized clinical research, and excellent scientific training. The institute operates various platforms including animal facilities, bioinformatics, molecular and functional genomics, flow cytometry, disease modeling and genome editing, microscopy and imaging, mass spectrometry and proteomics, and an obesity, metabolism, and diabetes research platform.
