Montanari Navigazione, founded in 1889 by Captain Giovanni Montanari, is a family-run company with four generations of tradition. The company operates a comprehensive fleet in the oil and chemical cargo industry. Its current fleet includes 18 ships, among which the tankers "Valle Azzurra" (50,000 DWT) and "Valescia" (37,000 DWT), both built by SPP Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in South Korea and equipped with a double-hulled design to meet safety standards. Montanari Navigazione is certified by RINA and possesses various classes such as ESP-double hull, Chemical tanker + STAR-HULL-NB, AUT-UMS, VCS, and Green Star-Design. The ships are equipped according to the IBC-Code and MARPOL-Annex II for the transportation of crude oil and dangerous liquids.
