H.P. Holmeset AS is a family-run shipping company with over 100 years of tradition in Norwegian line fishing. The modern AutoLine båte Geir catches cod, hake, ling, sprat, herring, blubber, and skate in the northern-eastern Atlantic coast. The company owns a fish processing facility on board to debone and package the fish, thereby increasing product quality and demand. H.P. Holmeset AS was founded in 1998 with the first dragger båte equipped with a processing unit and has been successful in line fishing ever since. The company is known for its specialized Moonpool Technology, which provides protection for the fishing crews.
