FISK-Seafood hf is one of the largest seafood firms in Iceland with over 70 years of experience in fishing, processing, and selling sea foods. The company operates ships and facilities on land for the processing of fish and other sea foods. On the Sauðárkróki-Höfn, the ships Arnar HU 1, Drangey SK 2, and Arnar HU 1 landed with a total weight of more than 1900 tonnes. Processing takes place in a fully equipped canned fish factory in Grundarfjörður where salty fish products for the southern market are processed and carries the trademark Soffaníasar Cecilssonar. FISK-Seafood is certified according to JAFNLAUNAVOTTUN-Safety standards and places great emphasis on sustainability, quality control, and the safety of processing sea foods.
