Réunion
Borbonica is the SINP platform of La Réunion, providing access to naturalist observations on fauna, flora, and fungi in La Réunion. It has validated 750,000 data points and offers tools for species conservation, environmental impact assessments, and the sharing of biodiversity data. Borbonica collaborates with local actors to contribute to knowledge about species distribution on Reunion Island. The platform was founded in 2010 and is jointly administered by the DEAL and the National Park of La Réunion. Since 2010, the National Park of La Réunion has been managing the natural heritage site "Pitons, Cirques and Remparts of the Island of Reunion," inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
