Ringas Enterprises is an Italian firm headquartered in Milan and has established itself as the main investor in the biomethane sector in Italy. The company invests not only in existing biogas plants but also plans new projects (greenfield). Ringas works closely with local companies to supply biomass for their facilities and use digestate as a biological fertilizer. They produce biomethan from both vegetable and animal by-products and deliver it to the SNAM networks. Ringas was founded in 2023 and has already implemented several projects in various Italian regions, including Formigara (Canton of Como), Crotta d'Adda (Canton of Como) and Castelnuovo Scrivia (Province of Lecce).
