Houston International Seafarers Center is a "home away from home" for seafarers in the Port of Houston, fulfilling their spiritual, social, and physical needs through support, assistance, and cooperation. The company was founded in 1968 and has since served over 2.5 million seafarers. They attend to ships seven days a week, 365 days a year, offering services such as traffic safety, communication facilities, relationship networks, and a safe harbor for all seafarers.
