Sener Petrol Denizcilik GmbH began its activity in the year 1984 with the provision of bunkers and currently operates a FLEET of four bunker barges (between 50 and 400 dwt). In the year 1991, the firm changed the name of the 1650 dwt LPG tanker AYGAZ 2 to SELAY-5 to start petroleum supplies in the spot market. The company ordered its first new shipbuilding vessel, 2850 dwt M/T ERMAN S, from Çiçek Werft in Tuzla and had it delivered in 1999. In the year 2005, the group SNR Holding was founded to achieve a modern structure by incorporating subsidiary companies. Sener Petrol Denizcilik is part of SNR Holding and has its headquarters in Istanbul. The company deals with bunkers and petroleum supplies as well as shipbuilding and repairs. The Istanbul Shipyard, a subsidiary of Sener Petrol Denizcilik, possesses a total land area potential of 51,000 m².
