CAPE OFFSHORE LIMITED is a 50/50 joint venture between two companies and operates the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm with an installed capacity of nearly 1.1 gigawatts, one of the largest offshore wind power installations in Scotland. The installation consists of 72 turbines, located 15 kilometers from the Angus coast in the North Sea, and supply their energy to a new substation in East Lothian, which is then fed into the national grid. It is operated from a specially constructed site at the Montrose Port. CAPE OFFSHORE LIMITED is involved in the implementation of Scotland's and the broader British offshore wind targets, generating enough renewable energy to supply more than half of Scotland's households. The company was reportedly founded on the ground floor of New Clarendon, 114-116 George Street, Edinburgh, in 2026.
