ARUTMIN INDONESIA, PT is a coal mining company and operates based on the Izin Usaha Pertambangan Khusus (IUPK). The firm was commenced in 1981 with the signing of the PKP2B-Contract with the Indonesian government. Arutmin has five mines: Senakin, Satui, Kintap, Asamasam, and Batulicin, as well as the international standard coal terminal North Pulau Laut Coal Terminal (NPLCT). The total production capacity currently stands at 20 million tonnes per year. Arutmin is an important coal reserve for power plants and industrial facilities in Indonesia and worldwide. The firm was branded as one of the National Vital Objects (Objek Vital Nasional) of the Indonesian government.
