National Association of Freight and Logistics (NAFL) was founded in February 1992 in Dubai and is the first national association of freight forwarding companies in the Gulf region. Representing over 400 member firms from more than 100 countries, NAFL represents the interests of the freight handling and logistics sector in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The organization is a member of FIATA, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations, based in Zurich, Switzerland. NAFL offers specialized training programs in the field of freight handling and logistics, particularly the diploma course, which is conveyed through practical exercises and interactive methods.
