What Hict does.

Hict, a subsidiary of HICT Vietnam, is a deep-water container port located in the northern part of Vietnam with the capability to load ships up to 14,000 TEUs. The company offers various services including container storage and transit, container refrigeration, container repair, and seafreight logistics. Hict is a joint venture between Tan Cang Group (51%), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (17.5%), Wan Hai Lines (16.5%), and Itochu Corporation (15%). The port features a main pier of 750 meters in length with a draft of -16 meters and two adjacent piers. It also has a salinity network with a pier of 150 meters in length and a draft of -5 meters, as well as 41 hectares of container land (22 dry, 2 mild, 4 empty). The company was founded in 2003.
