This innovative project, developed in collaboration with the MIT Sea Grant Design Laboratory, represents a first-of-its-kind solution for decarbonizing the global shipping fleet. According to the announcement, GreenScreen bridges the gap between the International Maritime Organization's ambitious net-zero emissions target by 2050 and the commercial viability of next-generation fuel and propulsion technologies.
