Walter Hering GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1936 as a company engaged in wire handling, hoisting, and planning. The current headquarters is located in Hamburg-Billbrook and was built by the second generation, Günther, Uwe, and Christa Hering in 1982. The company has continued to develop by expanding its grounds and hall areas in 1988 and 1997, particularly for the testing of ship anchors. Monique Boßmann took over in 2004 and led the company through modern production and logistics solutions. Walter Hering GmbH & Co. KG has been a part of the Unitex Group since 2023 and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
