Zavod "Krasnoye Sormovo" is a Russian industrial enterprise specialized in ship and machinery building. The firm was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor in 1939 and during World War II produced over 13,000 T-34 tanks, 23 submarines, as well as millions of rocket cartridges. After the war, the company concentrated on machinery for rail vehicles and agricultural machines.
