Cruise Gate Hamburg is responsible for the operation of cruise terminals in Hamburg and the allocation of berths. The CGH manages and allocates berths at the locations of Steinwerder, Altona, Baakenhöft, and HafenCity (spring 2025). Since June 2015, the Cruise Center Steinwerder has been able to accommodate more than 8,000 passengers per arrival. Hamburg also offers berths for river cruise ships and superyachts. Additionally, CGH markets the cruise destination Hamburg internationally. Cruise Gate Hamburg has been active since the operation of the Cruise Center Steinwerder in 2015 and manages several terminals in various parts of Hamburg.
