Bucklands Beach Yacht Club offers haul out services for smaller boats that should be repaired by their own skipper. The dock in Grangers Point has been active for decades and can also handle longer repair works. The haul out area is available only for club members and is operated by volunteers, with services offered from May 1st to November 30th. The haul out operation takes place on Saturdays, provided the weather permits; otherwise, the following day can be used. A club member must have a public liability insurance policy worth 10,000,000 NZD to use the dock and other marina facilities. The haul out season begins on May 1, 2026.
