GBT Gdańsk Limited Liability Company is a result of a joint venture between Malteurop Polska and Copenhagen Merchants. The company, located on the Bytomskie Quay in the Port of Gdansk, was constructed by 2012 and began operations in January 2013. It features modern, fully automated silos and flat storages with a total capacity of 55,000 tons for handling bulk agricultural commodities like grains and meals. The terminal can accommodate vessels up to 55,000 DWT (not fully loaded) with a maximum draft of 10.2 meters. GBT has been accredited by DEKRA with ISO 9001:2015, GMP+MI105, and GMP+. The terminal recently started loading containers with bulk material to meet customer demands.
