Port of Palm Beach is a U.S. port that serves the region's growing demand for construction materials by expanding its bulk cement operations through a new long-term contract with Ozinga Cement, Inc. The port is shifting towards increased import activity, with the steady import of up to 300,000 tons of granite and more than 200,000 tons of cement annually, expected to change the cargo balance to roughly 60% exports and 40% imports by 2031. The port has welcomed a new tenant, Thalle Construction Co. and SAB Solutions, which will import granite aggregate from Canada to support major construction and Everglades restoration projects.
