Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) is a Finnish shipbuilding company founded in 1968. Since its establishment, the firm has constructed various types of ships. RMC possesses extensive shipbuilding capabilities and has an in-house process chain from steel fabrication to the outfitting of ships. Specializing in the construction of icebreakers, passenger and cargo ferries, as well as government and research vessels, RMC places a strong emphasis on sustainability and technology in its shipbuilding work. Among its current projects, RMC is producing multi-purpose Pohjanmaa-class corvettes for the Finnish Navy, and constructing icebreakers for the US Coast Guard in Råma.
