Stabilis delivers over 150,000 m3 LNG bunkers in Galveston

Stabilis has successfully delivered over 150,000 cubic meters (m³) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) bunker fuel at the Port of Galveston. This delivery marks a significant milestone for Stabilis, which is also in the process of developing its proposed new LNG bunkering facility expected to commence operations in Q3 2028.

According to Ship & Bunker, this achievement is part of Stabilis’ ongoing commitment to expanding its LNG bunkering footprint. Additionally, a related development involves the partnership between Énestas and Power LNG on Pelican Island. Énestas will contribute capital, LNG transport and storage equipment, as well as downstream expertise (Manifold Times).

Another notable development is Stabilis' secured new contract for behind-the-meter power generation at an additional US data center (LNG Prime). This contract further solidifies the company's position in the small-scale LNG market. Meanwhile, the partnership between Enestas and Power LNG will support LNG bunkering, truck loading, and LNG distribution from the Port of Galveston (Ship & Bunker).
