The company operates the Greenstone Project, a multi-Million-ounce gold project in Ontario. After the closing of the purchase of Orion's 40% interest on May 13, 2024, Equinox Gold has full control over the Greenstone Mine and additional ownership rights to the Kenogamisis-, Brookbank-, and Viper-properties. The mine is expected to produce at least 300,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial mineral life of 15 years, which represents a significant component of Equinox Gold's portfolio and will be the largest mine of the company.
