The World Organization of Dredging Associations (WODA) is an independent, non-profit professional organization composed of three separate, autonomous sister dredging associations: WEDA, CEDA, and EADA. Each association serves a distinct region—North, South, and Central America for WEDA; Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for CEDA; and Asia, Australia, and the Pacific region for EADA. The three associations convene the triennial World Dredging Congress & Exposition (WODCON). WODA does not represent the views of any single dredging entity but covers a wide range of disciplines and activities related to dredging and the environment. WODA was founded in 1970, making it over five decades old.
