Sun Fisheries was founded in 1999 and has since added two smaller Match ponds, which were created in 2006. The fishery is fenced against predators to ensure future quality of angling opportunities. Lake One is a mixed sea with Chub up to 36lb 7oz and over 20 Chub over 20lb in the lake, as well as about 350 Chub in sizes from 6lb to 19lb. The lake was originally used as a mixed sea, but has a good reputation for quality Chub and silver angling in the summer, and is popular for perch angling in the winter. The perch reach sizes of 5lb 6oz (which is the size of a perch). There is also a large population of silver fish, including Roach, Chub, Perch up to 3lb, Tench up to 3lb, Crucian Carp, and Roach – many of which reach the specimen status. Lakes Two and Three are smaller angling lakes, suitable for enjoyment and Match angling.
