Kölner Schiffswerft Deutz offers extensive possibilities for repair, conversion, and re-engining of all types of inland vessels in the Mülheimer Harbor in Cologne. The company was founded in 1898 by the brothers Sachsenberg from Rosslau a.d. Elbe and operated as a shipyard until 1976 before going into bankruptcy due to economic difficulties. In 1978, the yard site was transformed into Kölner Schiffswerft Deutz (KSD), which today operates as a repair yard at its traditional location in the Ostbecken of the Mülheimer Harbor. KSD is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2015 and DNV Thickness Measurements and maintains ships or dock types for inland vessels.
