In the same year, it extended its custom license to Lumut, Perak. Gewira Shipping Agency opened an official office in Lumut on December 5, 1999. To better serve customers, the company established liaison offices in Port Kelang and Kuantan. Its services include loading/discharging bulk and break-bulk cargo, clearing vessels for dry docking at MMHE Pasir Gudang, containerized shipment (import/export), bunkering services, crew change, vessel/in/out clearance, and custom clearance.
