European Federation of Inland Ports (EFIP) brings together nearly 200 inland ports and port authorities in 18 countries, including the European Union, Switzerland, Serbia, and Ukraine. Founded in 1996, EFIP promotes inland ports as key intermodal nodes in transport and logistics chains, combining inland waterway transport with rail, road, and maritime transport. The organization celebrated its 30th anniversary in a digital publication highlighting member collaborations and the role of inland ports in sustainable growth. In March 2026, EFIP members met in Prague for their annual General Assembly Meeting hosted by Cesko-saske pristavy.
