Masumoto F is a family-run fruit farm in Japan, operated since 1948. The farm covers 80 acres south of Fresno and focuses on the cultivation of organic peaches, nectarines, apricots, and prune (for dried fruit). The founder of the company was Takashi “Joe” Masumoto. The farm is known for its high-quality peaches, although its nectarines, apricots, and dried fruit are also of high quality. David Mas Masumoto has brought attention to life and work on the farm through his books and films. His book "Epitaph for a Peach" is particularly well-known, as is a documentary film named "Changing Seasons," which shows the family and the farm and captures a transition phase between generations.
