The project consists of a zinc-silver-tin mining complex, which is classified as a carbonatesaturation deposit (CRD), and represents an important aspect of economic silver-zinc lead mineralization in Peru. Tinka discovered the Ayawilca zinc-bearing area in 2012 and has reached approximately 100,000 meters since August 2023. The Ayawilca Mineral Resources (2024) encompass a total of 360 million pounds of zinc and 14.9 million ounces of silver in indicators and 290 million pounds of zinc and 14.6 million ounces of silver in information.
