Söderhmans Stuveri & Hamn AB operates the harbors of Orrskär, Stugsund, and Långrör in the region of Söderhamn on the east coast of central Sweden. The company offers logistic services at three additional harbors in Vallvik, Sandarne, and Ala, which are owned by industrial enterprises. Particularly at the Orrskär harbor, large quantities of wood products like sawlogs are exported. The multi-use premises of the harbor can meet all requirements for loading general and heavy cargo shipments, and an expansion project with an additional 2 hectares of storage space and another berth is currently underway. Langrör and Stugsund are mainly used for transporting cement, oil, chemical products, and general cargo space. SSHAB owns and operates a tugboat for support in ship movements and as an icebreaker in winter to keep the harbors accessible.
