Primorsk Universal Loading Complex plans to handle up to 65 million tons of cargo per year, more than 20% of the total throughput of Russian ports in the Baltic Sea region. The company specializes in handling coal, mineral fertilizers, containers, general cargo, and agricultural products. A 50-hectare logistics center will be built, and the total area of the complex is 760 hectares, including a 27-hectare artificial land. The project will use closed unloading technologies, temporary storage, and transportation to minimize environmental impact, including dust. The natural depths of the harbor allow for the operation of ships with a deadweight tonnage up to 200,000 and a draft of up to 16 meters.
