NEW FORTRESS ENERGY LOUISIANA FLNG LLC is an entity of New Fortress Energy and plans the construction of an offshore Flotilla LNG Facility (FLNG) in Louisiana. The project comprises two FLNG platforms, each consisting of three interconnected platforms, as well as a compression facility and a floating storage unit (FSU). The installation is expected to produce 2.8 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas annually. The company has been implementing the project since 2021 and anticipates the start of exports in 2023. New Fortress Energy was founded in 2014 by Wes Edens to promote access to cost-effective, reliable, and environmentally friendly energy for all people worldwide.
