MARSTAL SOFARTSMUSEUM is a sofart museum in Denmark that has been established since 1934. The museum offers a variety of activities and exhibitions, including model ship collections and motor collections. The motor collection includes Marstal motor engines, which were manufactured by the Marstal Motor Factory, a Danish firm founded by Aage Johannes Hansen in 1934. The factory produced robust and reliable engines primarily for fishing boats and smaller ferries. Today, the museum's motor collection is housed in the old factory premises and is accessible from Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00. Visitors can also participate in the museum's creative boatyard where they can build model ships.
