GKSS Marina is located in Långedrag on the southern shore of the outlet of the Göta river. The marina offers more than 530 berths, most at fixed wooden bridges with piles at the stern, and is protected by a stone pier. It welcomes a large number of visiting boats annually and has two restaurants nearby. For non-members, there is a fee of SEK 300 for using the launching ramp. The marina also provides land spaces available from April 15 to October 15 for dinghies and smaller keelboats on trailers. Membership in the association is mandatory for winter berthing from November 1 to March 31. The Royal Gothenburg Yacht Club is based at GKSS Marina, which is conveniently located near the city center of Gothenburg with easy access by tram.
