Danske Kirke in Hull / Sankt Nikolaj Kirche has served the spiritual needs of seafarers and the general community life in Hull since more than 150 years. The church was first consecrated in 1871 and was the first Danish seaman's church building on an overseas port. The building stood for 70 years, until it was destroyed in the air raid of 1941. The current building was erected in 1954 near where it was previously located and consecrated on May 9, 1954 by Bishop Hans Fuglsang-Domgaard of Copenhagen. The church offers religious services and is available for rent for weddings and other ceremonies. It is located in Osborne Street, Hull, Postcode HU1 2PN.
