Was West Atlantic Shipyard is a modern shipbuilding and repair facility located in the Oil and Gas Export Free Trade Zone, Federal Ocean Terminal (FOT) Onne in Rivers State, Nigeria. Founded in 2005, it has built over 45 vessels locally to International Class Standard (Bureau Veritas), achieving AAA status. The shipyard is fully ISO 9001:2015 certified and offers comprehensive facilities for ship repair, refit, and conversion. With a capacity of two floating docks measuring 110m x 25m each, 300 m quayside, and 135,000 m² yard space, it provides 60,000 m² area for fabrication facilities and warehousing. The shipyard has invested over 80 million US dollars into the facility and its workforce to date.
