DRAG-SUR, S.L.U. was founded in 1993 and has since specialized in the field of coastal shipping and construction work. The company owns a ship named "JOSEFA PEREZ", which is used for both material excavation and its loading and unloading processes. In 1996, a grab pump was installed, which expanded the flexibility of the ship and enabled it to dig as well as convey materials up to 800 meters using tubes. In 2001, Salvador Higuera Corta took over a majority stake in the company and was appointed CEO. DRAG-SUR, S.L.U. has two ships in operation: the "JOSEFA PEREZ" and the "ALASKA PRIMERO". The firm is based in Algeciras (Cadiz) and primarily serves the Spanish coastal waters.
