Br. Bakke Holding AS was founded in 1995 by Hans Bakke when he and his parents bought the ferry Seihav. In the year 2000, his brothers Tore, Arne, and Edvard also joined the company. Today, Br. Bakke Holding AS consists of three fully self-responsible daughter companies: Seisund AS, Br. Bakke AS, and Seivik AS. The firm has a 50%-share in three further enterprises: Seibas AS, Erko Seifix AS, and Seistar Holding AS. Their service department on Hille in Bakkasund offers maintenance services both for their own ships as well as for external vessels, as well as cleaning and maintenance measures for installations. Br. Bakke AS owns several fishing vessels like MS Seisund, MS Seines, MS Seiholm etc., which mainly operate in the western part of Norway and in coastal waters.
